AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK: 40 HOURS
Provides services to students with disabilities who are eligible or potentially eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation Services attending area schools. Duties would include job exploration counseling, work-based learning experiences, counseling on post secondary opportunities, workplace readiness training, and instruction is Self-Advocacy. This position will work a schedule in the area schools and in agency office weekly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age
Satisfactorily pass Criminal History Background Check
Provide proof of current drivers license and auto insurance
Be able to pass drug screening at any point of employment
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of assisting people with disabilities (after two week on the job training course)
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, SPECIAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee is regularly required to sit
Must be able to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel
Must be able to reach with hands and arms
Must be able to talk and hear
Must be able to occasionally stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Other office equipment for special projects
Be able to utilize a PC & IPad
