Donations contribute to effectively managing our programs and services. They also fund activities such as creative abundance art programming, birthday parties, summer barbecues, special guests, and other special occasions for our consumers. Your contribution can be earmarked specifically for a program or service, or simply given as an unrestricted gift.

Abilities Services is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to ASI are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Abilities Services tax identification number is 35-1266320.

Your Impact

Abilities Services, Inc. receives the majority of its funding from the State of Indiana, authorized by the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services (BDDS) for each individual consumer.

While the State has tried to maintain funding, fees are often insufficient in covering the many “extras” that help improve the quality of life for our consumers or in the replacement of large, capital expenses such as the use of safe and reliable vehicles for community integration.

Abilities Services works very hard to keep consumers engaged in a variety of activities both in our facilities through our Day Services Program or in the community of their choice through our Supported Living and Residential Programs.

As a non-profit organization, ASI is always appreciative of donations to assist us in delivering the highest quality of care. Monetary contributions can be designated for special projects/events as well as “unrestricted” so that our agency can use it in the most meaningful ways. Abilities Services can often use gifts of tangible items as well – furniture for our consumers, household and hygiene supplies, or equipment for our Day Services Programs.
